Les tumulus de Cekeen
Les tumulus de Cekeen is part of the Tentative list of Senegal in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
The tumuli of Cekeen comprise 56 earthen burial mounds. They include a 12m high one. They were made by placing the deceased under the roof of his hut and then covering it with earth to form a tumulus.
